Easter!!

We had a fantastic time this Easter! We had lunch at our house again this year and then headed over to Nana and Papas for the annual Easter Egg hunt! We were very lucky because the Easter bunny visited again this year! (He almost did not make it because when Brad went to put on the costume, we discovered it was not quite big enough for him :(. LUCKILY our friend David "Blade" was nice enough to fill in for him! It was super sweet because he does not even have children yet! Good way to practice being a superdad though :)!!).

Madison LOVED the Easter Bunny. We were a bit worried because she was not a huge fan of Santa this past Christmas. At first, she was not quite sure about the big furry bunny so she started throwing her eggs at him. He scored some points by throwing them back to her and from that point on she did not let him out of her sight. She was not to thrilled about the idea of him spending time or taking pictures with the other kids either! We had to hold her back so others could get pics :). I think this is the last year that I will be able to bring her along to return the bunny costume though. She was quite distraught when she say the flat bunny haning in the bag. She kept pointing at it saying "hop hop. hop hop!!!" in a panicked voice!

Ready for Summer!

Well, summer can begin because we have found the perfect bakini and Madison is ready for swimming and the beach! Tanya was in town recently so we met her and Jeff at her hotel pool and had such a wonderful time! Everytime we would get out to take a break, Madison would point at the pool and say "water, water". She loved it and I cannot wait to see her on the beach this year !

Big Girl Clothes!

We recently stocked up on some new clothes for Madison, and I am having so much fun getting her ready every morning! She looks like such a big girl now! We can finally get her hair into one ponytail, too fun!

Madison and Gwandpa

Madison loves all of her Grandparents (Grandma, Grandpa, Nana and Papa), but during our last trip to Phoenix she was quite taken with Grandpa Wheeler. When we arrived at the airport I told her we were going to go find Grandma and Grandpa and she started flailing her arms yelling "GWANDPA, GWANDPA"! During our entire visit, she kept tabs on him no matter what she was doing. If he left the room she would yell for him. If he went to the store without her we would have a minor crisis. In the morning she would yell for him throughout the house and if he was not awake, she would run into his room and wake him up. It was too funny. I was fearful when the time came for him to drop us off at the airport that we would have a major scene. Luckily I was able to promise her that she would see Dada and Nana and Papa soon and everythng was okay :).

Madison LOVES her "Glassies"

Madison has quite a thing with Sunglasses. She calls them "glassies" and insists on wearing them wherever she goes. She is quite trendy and even wears them inside :).

More cute baby Landon Pics :)!!

Baby Landon is here!!!

My sister Katie and her husband Joey welcomed their first baby, a son named Landon Joseph, into the world on Wednesday March 29th, 2006. I was so lucky to be able to go spend the day at the hospital with them and the rest of our families as we eagerly awaited Landons arrival. After a VERY long day, the doctors finally decided that it would be best if he came into the world via c-section. Katie was so brave, and did so great! She was smiling and in great spirits just two hours after the birth! Landon weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces and was 18 inches long. He is a BEAUTIFUL (okay, HANDSOME, sorry Joey!) baby. He has beautiful coloring and perfect features, he truly is super cute! Here are some pictures from the first few days of his life. I cannot wait to get back to Phoenix in two weeks and spend some more time with him!

Too Cute!

Ponytails!

Madisons hair is finally long enough to put into ponytails! It is sooo much fun :). She looks like such a big girl!!
